The Gardens at Paulding
Paulding, Ohio
Our one-year project with The Gardens at Paulding involved all aspects of design service and management: architectural design development, interior construction detailing, then finish and furnishing specification, purchase, and installation. This 40,000 square foot Victorian-style facility is the fourth of its kind, and the 40th senior living facility developed by Mr. Ralph Hazelbaker. Our goal was to create an assisted living and skilled nursing home that was both functional and comfortable for its residents, their families, and staff members.
One of the most unique design features within each of Mr. Hazelbaker’s four Gardens facilities is the vibrantly colored framed photo art hanging on their walls. These pieces are the artistic work of photographer Chip Blacker, depicting "local flavor," designed to evoke positive memories and peaceful thoughts.
